Advent Quiet Day

Living In-between

preparing for a God who is and who is to come

Give yourself the gift of some quiet reflection time as you prepare for a God who is with us (Emmanuel) in the present and yet calls us into the future. Join us at Mercy Center, away from the crowded malls and the hustle and bustle of cooking, shopping and wrapping, for a traditional Advent Quiet Day.

Confluence: A Center for Spirituality offers this Advent Quiet Day at Mercy Center Conference and Retreat Center, 2039 Geyer Road, St. Louis, MO 63131 Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Rev. Steve Lawler will present a series of meditations on “Living In-between: preparing for the God who is and is yet to come,” followed by periods of silent reflection and prayer. Lawler is an Episcopal priest, organizational psychologist and teaches at Washington University.

The cost for the day is $40.00 which includes lunch. Register for the Advent Quiet Day by sending a check to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 33 North Clay, Ferguson. MO 63135. Registrations must be received by November 21, 2011.
