Retreat for Retired Clergy – October 1, 2012

“Celebrating What Has Been, What Is, and What Will Be”

An Opportunity for Reflection

Confluence, a Center for Spirituality, is sponsoring a retreat for the retired clergy of the Diocese of Missouri on Monday, October 1, at Mercy Center. We will gather at 9:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 10:00 a.m. Lunch is included and the retreat ends at 3:00 p.m.

Mercy Center is at 2039 North Geyer Road, St. Louis, MO 63131-3399, Phone: (314) 966 – 4686.

This opportunity to reflect on “what has been, what is and what will be” will be facilitated by the Rev. Susan Skinner, Executive Director of Confluence, and the Rev. David Fly, who has worked for the past 12 years with the Church Pension Fund leading Planning for Tomorrow and Enriching Your Retirement Seminars.

For the past two years we have been meeting on a quarterly basis to enjoy each other’s fellowship. This meeting provides an opportunity for the ordained clergy to share with one another what our calling has meant to us, what it means now, and what it continues to be as we move into the future. We hope you’ll join us!

The cost of the conference (which includes lunch and the cost of facilities) is $30.

You may register by sending a check for $30 made out to “Confluence: A Center for Spirituality” to The Rev. David K. Fly, 4400 Lindell Blvd., Apt. 11N, St. Louis, MO, 63108. PLEASE LET US KNOW BY SEPTEMBER 14 IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND.
